I was fortunate to receive the iPad2 as a gift.  This isn’t something I would have bought for myself, with the $499 price tag, so I have been thoroughly enjoying seeing what this tablet can do.  I am not a high-end user, and in fact the only other Apple device I own is an iPod Nano,... This fall I was blessed to receive an Apple IPad2 after my name was pulled in a drawing. After hearing about IPads in the last year or so I always thought they looked really awesome, but not something I would be getting anytime soon. Needless to say when I won my IPad2 I was totally excited... Read full review »

iPad Review - My First iOS Device

Cons Boring OS, frustrating dependence on iTunes, flawed email app.

I recently took the plunge and purchased my first ever Apple device. A long-time Windows user and general detractor of Apple and their expensive, controlled approach to computing, I couldn’t resist all those quality iOS apps any longer. I bought (well, technically, my wife bought as a wedding... Read full review »

Apple probably could have done nothing in 2011 and still be regarded as the leader of the emerging tablet market. With nearly no credible competitors, the company's upped the ante with the new iPad 2.

So what's the big deal? In some ways, it's more of the same. The iPad 2 is the same width... Read full review »

Bought this as we are backpacking Europe and wanted very light space saver that would allow me to answer emails and do some minimal work(which is buying antiques online). I have been trying it out at home for about 5 weeks now, and it was easy to set up and use for the most part. Rather seamless... Read full review »

So is the iPad 2 just another fad...or will it be a useful piece of technology that will be around for awhile?

Let me start by saying I am by no stretch of the imagination a computer geek (or whatever they call people these days that are computer savvy).

I am however the owner... Read full review »

Charles Darwin would have really enjoyed the current market for tablet devices.  Did they evolve from computers or smartphones, or were they created through an act of god (or Steve)?  Science or faith?

Regardless of how tablets came to be, or the original iPad, there is no doubt... Read full review »

As one of the last products Steve Jobs introduced, everybody had extremely high hopes for the product.   It’s safe to say that the iPad lived up to almost all of the expectations that apple fans had for the new tech.  But what makes this new piece of technology stand apart from...
