POOR PICTURE QUALITY

Sleek design and lightweight, nice black with chrome contrast.

The Bottom Line:
I would say NO to a recommendation on this one.
The new Kawasaki with 9" LCD and sleek design. Purchased from Target for $139 as a Christmas Special and returned for full refund.
Here is a list of the problems I had with this player:
LCD: Colors are way off, and no available adjustment. Unless you sit squarely in front of the viewer and tip the screen back at an angle, the entire screen develops a white haze. Also the haze appears if you move to the side even slightly, which is inconvenient.
REMOTE: Small and difficult to use, writing very small.
SCREEN: There is a one-inch black band all the way around the screen decreasing the screen's viewing area. It also makes movie picture seem distorted. I tried to use the various settings but it only appeared to worsen the effect. Overall, the picture quality needs a lot of improvement
DESIGN: I liked the way it looks and it's lightweight even with the battery attached.
PACKAGE: Comes with everything except a case. It has an AC Adapter, car charger, remote and an inexpensive set of ear buds.
OVERALL RECOMMENDATION: Not worth the $139 to $169 as offered. Can purchase a much better quality LCD in a 7" for this money.
