Panasonic PV-GS39 Mini DV Camcorder

I thought I got a great deal when I bought this camcorder from Best Buy but boy was I wrong! Everything was ok until I tried to connect to my PC. I had to buy a USB cable only to find out that Panasonic offers NO USB software driver for the PV-GS39 for Windows XP. This is a low-down, dirty shame. The main reason I purchased this camera was so I could upload digital video to my PC. This is where the fun is. Who dose not want to share video these days as well as take advantage of the editing capabilities of modern PC software? My emails and phone calls to Panasonic have been completely ignored. Why put Firewire and USB ports this device if they can't be used? So my advice to anyone buying video hardware today is stop and make sure before you buy that the SOFTWARE and interface cables are available so you can connect to your PC of choice!
