Be careful, if you use generic inks, the driver will not detect the levels
The ink that comes with the original printer are only trial size and ran out quickly (as is usually the case with most printer purchases these days). Superb all in one
Works like a charm. Replaced a 13 year old HP LaserJet 4P. all facets work as advertised. However, you CAN scan with the printer attached to a wireless network. It does not need to be attached physically to the computer. Perhaps the manual refers to using the Bluetooth option (which I do not have)... Read full review »
Crummy, plastic printer
The J6480 is very poorly made and fails more often than performs as a printer should. It eats too many pieces of paper before the job exits on the tray. Granted, it is not a high end printer, however, it should reflect the value asked and received by HP.

This printer was reasonably easy to set up and not too hard to figure out how to use. Buy extended warranty through place of purchase
If you have any issues at all with this All in One I recommend you return it before your warranty expires to the place of purchase.
