Works like a charm. Replaced a 13 year old HP LaserJet 4P. all facets work as advertised. However, you CAN scan with the printer attached to a wireless network. It does not need to be attached physically to the computer. Perhaps the manual refers to using the Bluetooth option (which I do not have). The print is good, colors excellent. Copies well. Very satisfied with my purchase. Have not used it to print photos, but it does greeting cards well.
