HP Delivers a decent Printer but little support
I finally had enough of my bottom of the barrel ink jet printer. I decided the quality was in line with its price and if I wanted decent photos then I needed to at least go for the hundred dollar and above types. Ok, when it works. which isnt long....
Bought this printer in April. Probably printed 20 pages on it in 3 months since I have another printer hooked up. When it worked it printed great pictures. Good products with some caveats
The printing quality is great, and the scanner works very well. I have had two problems though.
Problem one is the driver support for the Apple Mac OS X 10.4.8. The installer is broken and the printer cannot be installed. Both the included CD and the downloadable driver from the website...

Printer is great in it's short life.

HP Photosmart C4180 All In One Printer-Scanner-Copier
I replaced an Epson printer with this model hoping that it could do the job of both my scanner and printer only to be very disappointed with scanner capabilities. An easy to use and all around good printer.
I purchased the HP Photosmart C4180 around four months ago for about $120, when I needed a better picture printer, and it has worked very well.
Printing: This printer prints high-quality, dazzling prints. Also, it can perform well when printing plain documents as well.

Huge disappointment

Impressive for the money
Last year, when we purchased our bundle packaged computer, it came with an hp5440 printer. Although it was a low-end printer, my photo's were pretty clear and they had great color. Hate it! Nothing but problems.
Have had nothing but problems since I purchased this printer. It's been a year and I'm returning it for a replacement before my Warranty expires because intermittent issues are escalating.
