Great for typical printing of photos and documents although a bit erratic
I bought this printer when Staples had a sale, it was $129 at the time and I also purchased some 96 brightness 24 lbs. paper and a pack of their Photo Plus gloss 4x6 photo paper. Great printer - difficult installation
This is the 2nd HP printer I've owned, and it's a vast improvement over my old one, which was not a bad printer at all. I doubt if I'll ever even use all of the features it has, like scanning directly to a memory card.

Slow but good
Yep! I read the reviews and still bought it. It IS slow to get started printing and does makes a lot of groaning sounds, but does a good job when it gets going. It does need to hold more paper. It is a pretty good buy for the price.
