Ideal for Sony's MD Walkman and DAT Walkman® Portable Stereos, the ECM-MS907 features a One-Point Stereo Design, Mid/Side (MS) Capsules with a Switchable Pickup Angle, an Oxygen-free Copper (OFC) Mic Cable, and a Gold-plated L-shaped Stereo Miniplug.

Good Amateur Mic

Pros: Good quality recording, durable, reliable

Cons: none, the next step up is professional mics

Not a bad microphone, but not stunning either.

Pros: Inexpensive. Battery lasts forever. Relatively good sound for the price. Simple to set up.

Cons: Limited frequency response and sound pressure level. Stereo image isn't great.

Review: I used this to tape concerts and band rehearsals. It works OK, and sounds fairly good, but it has a tendency to lose high-frequency response under loud situations. I don't really like the mid-side stereo that this microphone employs. Though it does ...
