The Sony SLV-D983P is a convenient, space-saving combined DVD player and VHS VCR. It plays back multiple disc formats (including MP3, recordable DVD formats and JPEG recordings), features a simple-to-programme VideoPlus timer (just enter the code next to the programme, found in listings magazines and papers) and features a super-fast 60 second rewind of a three hour tape.

This Player was Really Built to Last for a Long Time!

Pros: Easy to use, it lasts a long time, great remote control

Cons: none

The Bottom Line: If you want to have a player that is reliable and last a long time, buy the Sony DVD/VCR combo player

Pros: easy to use, good design, durable, easy to set up

Cons: picks up on the ani-copying in most vhs tapes, not American made

The Bottom Line: This thing is built to last, user friendly and pretty stylish, if your looking for your final dvd/vhs combo this is it.
