I love Amazon.com. I do more shopping through Amazon than any other website and actually, I buy more from Amazon than most brick and mortar stores.

They have an amazing selection of things to buy. My favorite categories are movies and books. I tend to go for classics and more obscure titles when it comes to movies. If it's out there and available for purchase, Amazon has the movie. I've been able to find some amazing classic titles on Amazon that I couldn't find anywhere else.
The book selection has been unbelievable with Amazon. I've found very hard to find titles, particularly some older books, right there on Amazon.
I always compare their prices with other sites. 9 out of 10 times Amazon is the cheapest. This past Christmas, I wanted a civil war book that's somewhat hard to find. I checked on some other book sites and it was selling for $75. Amazon had it for $25 and there were plenty in stock. You can't beat that!
I find it amazing that eBay items will be selling for much more than the product is priced at Amazon.

Amazon also have a used section, where people can sell and buy used products. I've had less than stellar experiences with that section of the site. A few times, I have purchased from used item sellers on there and gotten items
that weren't in very good shape.

Only once did I have a problem with Amazon. I purchased a video right around Christmas time, to give as a gift. Unfortunately, it arrived two days after Christmas even though it was promised to be here on time. I contacted
Amazon, they were very apologetic, and for my trouble, they emailed me a $10 gift code. It was just a mistake and the fact that they made up for it, says a lot about their customer service.

Overall, I think it's an amazing website and I shop there often for just about anything I need.
