I've enjoyed shopping at Amazon for more than 200 purchases. I usually have been lucky to get what I needed other than on a couple occasions where either I could not achieve a good shipping price or they flat out would not deliver to my area. I have just come right from Amazon where they will not ship me a small air compressor. It's not that they will not give me free shipping, or allow me use of amazon prime (which Hawaii customers cannot use), but they flat out will not ship to my area even If I am willing to pay the normal shipping routes to my area. Every online site out there would ship to me if I paid the price - why won't amazon. I call their secretive customer service number and I honestly believe there is not a world-map in the entire headquarters. Now folks, I am not ranting. I know that shipping outside of the 48 is more costly, but If I were willing to incur those costs... what gives!!! I've also on 2 occasions had them cancel transactions for me 2 weeks after accepting my transactions saying that shipping was not acceptable to them.
