Amazon ruined our Christmas

We placed our order on Dec 8th which should have been plenty of time for a Christmas deliver. There were about 6 items. It is now 7:00p on Christmas eve and no presents. Amazon grinched our Christmas. I will NEVER EVER order from them again on Christmas, no matter what. <br> <br> What the HELL happened? <br> <br>

BEWARE! i placed an order and was repeatedly promised free shipping. when the total came in, the charge for shipping was more than $16 for shipping. not exactly free.

Amazon claimed I had made a "Buy Now with 1-Click" purchase by clicking on "an individual Amazon Marketplace seller" link at the Amazon website. I certainly had not. I contacted Amazon immediately about their error, and they referred me to the "seller," who in turn referred me back to Amazon. After a few weeks of this runaround, and after having received some of the most astonishingly rude emails I have ever read, Amazon replied that the time limit for getting a refund had expired. <br> <br> The result: I am now the proud owner of a worn, 35-year-old mildewed paperback of old pop fiction by an obscure writer of no interest to me or anybody else, for which I paid, including shipping, $25.00. Apparently Amazon's business plan includes forcing junk product into your hands and stealing from your bank account. Stay away.

Lousy. They let a scam artist in as a seller & I got ripped off. Like you, I trusted Amazon to do their job. They didnt and it cost me money. Amazon SUCKS. Buy from someone else. <br>

I placed an order for Polar ice Glasses in June, it is almost September and still no product. They keep telling me the glasses are coming...yeah, right. They advertised something they never had. The glasses are STILL for sale on their site. What jerks.

Amazon shipping now stinks! <br> I have shopped at Amazon over the years and typically found everything to my liking. The last year has found me having to add their high shipping and handling charges to my overall cost of the item offered (watch out they are profiting on shipping). I place an order from their web site December 13 in two parts. One was from a seller and one was from Amazoo it's self (big lesson learned). The seller shipped my order the next day as confirmed by email and the post stamp when it arrived a total of eight days later. But get this, Amazoo just sent me an email after nine days that they are just now shipping my order! I knew from last year that they waited three days before shipping my order but to now find a nine day delay! I internet shop from a lot of retailers, but now I will recommend to everybody I can..... Look elsewhere!

They charged my credit card for something I didn't order. When I tried to explain what happened, they would just send me pat answers that were of no help. I guess they are to big to care.

Horrible <br> <br> I purchased an item on September 8th that said it would ship in less than 24 hours. It is now September 12th and it has still not shipped. <br> <br> I have tried calling Customer Support but the recorded message says they are unable to take my call. I have tried emailing also. <br> <br> Very frustrating

Amazon.com SUCKS !!! big time...they put misleading info on their site .. Amazon sucks ... <br> <br> When I bought a Netgear wireless PC card from Amazon.com , web site said "usually ships in 24 hrs" & later I got email from Amazon with estimated date of shipping 7 days from the date of purchase. I wrote Amazon.com abt this & I got a response that, becoz I choose so called "super saving shipping" option product will be delayed by 7 days... <br> <br> This is my LAST purchase from Amazon.com ... They should put in SIZE 72 FONTS that, PLEASE PAY for shipping OR WE'LL DELAY IT BY 7/10 DAYS ... in this regard I found eCost.com far far better.. even with their FREE Shipping option they ship literally ship within 24 hrs.. -Net_Shopper

I placed an order with Amazon on Dec 13th (for an item that was in stock and usually ships within 24 hours). Their banner on the front of their website guaranteed delivery if you ordered by Dec 17. Instead of fulfilling the order within 24 hours (or something close), they filled it 6 days later and I never got the item in time for Christmas (I still don't know where it is). Really screwed up the holiday. Customer Service was apologetic but that doesn't solve the problem. I've bought alot of stuff from them, however, with so many choices out there, why would I buy from them again? <br> <br>

BE VERY CAREFUL!!! ALL the canon EOS-1ds mark II cameras on the amazon website offered by individual sellers are a fraud! I sent over $1400 to a seller and received nothing! The sellers that want you to contact them about payment are frauds! I know many are located in Romania- DON'T Send these people money!!!! <br> I contacted Amazon and they said they couldn't help me becuase I did not pay through them (the sellers wouldn't accept payment through Amazon!) Amazon basically just said there was nothing they could do. <br> I have contacted Amazon numerous times to tell them that these fraudulent sellers are still on their website and they have done nothing to fix the problem!!! <br> <br> I would definately think twice before ordering from AMAZON!

DO NOT MAKE A MISTAKE IN YOUR AMAZON ORDER!!!! <br> <br> Good luck getting any help with an order. First off there's no phone number listed on the site. There's no place email them with a specific problem either. I had to go to the 1-800 directory to find a number! <br> <br> My problem? I typed in a mailing address incorrectly (the wrong apartment number by one digit) but didn't realize it until I hit "Order Complete"! Too late. My order was sent on 11/8. It was delivered to the wrong address and sat at the USPS for 2 weeks. Then it was DELIVERED to "Wilmington, DE". The package was going to Boston, MA; I live in Charlotte, NC. <br> <br> Trying to get help or information from Amazon is easily the most painful experience I've ever had with an online company. I will never shop with them again. <br> <br> USE BARNES AND NOBLE OR BORDERS OR ANYONE ELSE!!!!

He is selling an old bowdabra bow maker which you can buy a new one at any major craft store for $14.99, which includes dvd, bowdabra and instruction book. He is selling it for $$43.04. That is a huge rip off!!! <br> <br> Direct 4 sale store <br> is a rip off!!!

Ordered present for neice, that was in stock, four days before her birthday with 2 day shipping. 2 days after her birthday they emailed me to say it's been delayed. After 17 days after I ordered it they shipped it. What a joke of an organisation.

Miserable experience. Ordered book arrived damaged, was told by customer service on three occasions that refund would be applied, never was applied until I made them send me an e-mail why speaking to c.s. that I was to be issued a refund. Absolutely Pathetic customer service. <br> <br> Dave

Amazon will not sell the the Ulead Movie Factory at the advertised price. Their price is $10 over advertised with no allowance for errors. <br> <br> Also there is no telephone No. for customer service. <br> <br> So, with this in mind, it would be better to spend a little more at another dealer.

I ordered an 18-200 Nikon lens in May, supposedly in stock, the order was delayed repeatedly until I gave up! They still claim to have it in stock, but this is NOT TRUE... <br> Shame Amazon... <br> Jonathan R. Green, dissatisfied customer!!!

Amazon.com sucks!!! They said they had an Apple I-Pod in stock and I would be receiving it in 7-10 days. On the 10th day I received an e-mail telling me that they were out of stock and would not be delivering it to me for another month and a half. Now every store in town is sold out of them so I'm stuck out in the cold. Their overseas customer service is BEAT too! They don't understand english very well and offered no solution to my problem besides "free shipping" which I had already obtained upon my original order....nice. I will not shop at Amazon.com EVER again and will spread the negative word about their company.

What a bad experience I have had. I was promised quick delivery, but that did not happen. I was then told the order had already shipped. That was a lie. Now even tho the item has still not shipped a week later, I am told that I can't cancel the order. My only option is to refuse the package and wait up till a month for a refund. <br> <br> How do they stay in business ?

I ordered a travel book through Amazon. The outsourced company, THERGROUP, handled the transaction. The book was extremely slow in arriving but what made this purchase fraudulent was that the company sent me a book that had pages that were HIGHLIGHTED in YELLOW. They tried to pass off a USED book for the price of one that was NEW.
