I registered an account a month ago. I listed my first item yesterday. My account was suspended immediately. When I asked for explanation, eBay just sent me a bunch of links to read. I read them and found nothing relevant. I have sent multiple messages asking for explanation but got literally the same response from with the same bunch of links. This is ridiculous!

I use the ‘livechat’ of eBay and talked to one of the representatives. I waited in line for half an hour! I explain what happened and all I get is another email address to send email to appeal my account suspension. I still have not heard from that email address yet.

I then described what I try to sell and the way I tried to see it, the agent said there was not problem in it. Well, then, why was my account suspended??? No answer was provided.

I have friends who told me about their experience with eBay before. These are all unpleasant experience---eBay does not respect you, all it cares is the fee it can charge.

If you occasionally need to sell something, eBay might be a cheap option, just remember not to give eBay any of your personal information----with such sloppy attitude, there is a very high risk that your private information would be compromised. If you have a business to run, I mean, a serious, long term business, just forget about eBay and set up your own online store---eBay does not worth your time or energy.
