Pros: Versatility, ergonomics, long zoom and battery life, fast startup and operation, excellent color, sharp.
Cons: No low light focus assist, no microphone, vulnerable card slot.
The Bottom Line: This camera is probably overlooked by many first time digital camera shoppers. Look closer! Both enthusiasts and beginners can really take pleasure in the affordable and versatile Minolta DiMAGE Z20.

Pros: Powerful 8x zoom; great battery life; easy to use; good focus; many manual settings
Cons: ISO CCD noise; unattached lens cap; "dark" lens
The Bottom Line: This camera is an especially good buy if you can get a deal on it. You'll never go back to wimpy 3x optical zooms!

Cons: LED screen issues, poor control locations.
The Bottom Line: Despite many great features, I cannot recommend this camera, due to the problems with the LED screen.

Pros: The Dimage Z20 takes great pictures and is easy to use.
Cons: Viewfinder locks up so you can't use LCD screen. Lens cap not attached.
The Bottom Line: I hesitate to recommend this as there seems to be a manufacturing flaw with the viewfinder mode but it does take great pictures.
