Powerful, balanced and clear

This is my first try at JBL speakers and I can say with confidence that these do the job on all levels.
At first I was concerned with the duel 6" woofers handling big bass and boy did it impress, now don't get me wrong, we all need a sub to get real theater bass sound, but I tried these babies out with my sub off and it displayed tight punchy bass while maintaining great balanced mids and super highs without sounding scratchy or distorted.
Imaging was also impressive displaying a wide but tight sound field.
As far as I am concerned there is no need to go for the e90's and spend more money, as these provide more than enough bass and has greater clarity. Great for home theater and all kinds of music.
