Quite Impressive. Wireless, and sounding great!
Pros: Convenient. Chargeable. Good looking. Well built. Lightweight. Decent sounding. Your neighbors will be happier.
Cons: Hiss if source isn't loud enough (so turn it up). Wireless (you should know that!) Full review Simply, do not expect these cans to sound as good as similarly priced wired headphones. After all, you wouldn't expect wired headphones to excel at allowing movement across the breadth of your home, now would you? I've heard really great headphones that cost this little, and some that cost less. And there are plenty of poor cans that cost more. Though the audiophile may want more, such a person would likely not buy the RS130s in the first place. Nor would they buy a home cinema receiver, and that's exactly what these phones are good for - movies. Of course, they are adept with music, so long as you don't expect them to compare to your $600 loudspeakers. For private movie viewing and listening to music late at night these cans are great. Reasonably well detailed and balanced, some nuance, very convenient - great for the money. I'd compare them with wired models around $60 (and I wouldn't spend much more than that on such an item anyway). Those complaining about these could be expecting a miracle or failing to recognize the inherent nature of wireless headphones. Or perhaps their source output is too low. Make sure the amp is up high enough to send a good signal! |
