Pros: Many DVD formats, decent remote, control set top box, nice DVD menu

Cons: Could not control our DirectTV receiver, small record light, no tuner, no RF output

The Bottom Line: Good DVD recorder for multi-formats, especially if you don't need a tuner or RF (i.e. coax antenna) output for older TV. I wish the the set-top control worked for us.
