iPod shuffle is based on Apple’s incredibly popular shuffle feature, which randomly selects songs from a user’s music library. The clickable buttons make the iPod shuffle even easier to use. Press the center button to play and pause, press the outer buttons to skip forward and back or adjust the volume up and down. The iPod shuffle now supports Genius Mixes, the popular iTunes® feature that automatically creates mixes from songs in a user’s music library that go great together. Genius Mixes provide the perfect way to rediscover music users already have, but may not have listened to recently. Less

Pros Music, podcasts, video, high resolution photos, cover art, games, calendar, ease of use
Cons Wider shape not as convenient as second generation nano
Recommended it? Yes

The Third Generation iPod Nano is my third iPod. My first ipod, the second gen. original iPod has a whopping 15 gig of hard drive, but was a bulky dinosaur in comparison to the thin slender Nano. Then about 2 weeks ago, I came to the end of my rope with my second generation (4 GB) Nano. It kept... Read full review »

Pros clarity of video, good sound, ease of use, functionality
Cons not enough storage space for me, click wheel seems temperamental
Recommended it? Yes

There was a little incident involving my iPod and a child hanging a wet bathing suit over where it was recharging. No, Mom was not happy. It was time for a new iPod. I couldn’t afford the one I wanted, so I settled for what I could afford at the time which was the 3rd Generation Apple iPod Nano... Read full review »

Cons 2GB capacity, no display, clip hard to use.

The 4th Generation iPod Shuffle is one of the most reliable and simple MP3 players out there. At 1.14x1.24x0.34 inches, (A little bigger than the typical SD card) the iPod Shuffle is highly portable and features a clip to allow users to clip on various objects or clothing. Although it doesn't have... Read full review »

The Apple iPod Shuffle 4th Generation Blue (2 GB) MP3 Player

byawkwardsilence Jun 15, 2011
15 Helpfuls 16 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Comes with clip, small, comes with headphones, durable, charges fast, cheap, and holds...
Cons Small, no screen, only about 2GB of memory, and durable but scratches easily.
Recommended it? Yes

The 4th generation iPod Shuffle is surprisingly, not a terrible buy.  At 1.1×1.24×0.34 in and .4 ounces it is the smallest iPod yet!

However that is not always a good thing as it is disturbingly easy to lose if you are haphazard with your possessions. ... Read full review »
