I just returned my Quietcomfort 3 headset back to Bose. I primarily use a Stax SR-001 MKII in ear electrostatic headset (and as of late a QuietComfort 2) for at home / college use. Pros Fairly comfortable; let you listen to your iPod with background noise.
Cons Do not completely cancel out background noise. Can sound muffled sometimes.

Pros Best audio reproduction/noise isolation of any earbud I have ever tried.
Cons Very thin, flimsy cables.  I doubt that it will be durable enough for my commute.
Recommended it? Yes

I got the Klipsch S4 headphones about a month ago and wanted to put them through the daily metro train ride to work before I reviewed them.  I found that they are tremendous in blocking outside/unwanted noise and have incredible sound response from solid bass through crisp highs.  It just...
