Pros Light, sturdy, feature packed, small, price, ease of use.
Cons AF feature can use some speeding up.
Recommended it? Yes

Pentax makes pretty decent products. This camera is no exception. It has a very small footprint/frame and is quite slim. The LCD screen in the back is quite large for a unit like this and is appreciated tremendously. Oh, and on sunny days, it still works and doesn't wash out like other units.

Pros On camera editing, size, and value
Cons Lag time, lithium ion battery
Recommended it? No

The camera is compact and very well designed. It is about the size of a deck of cards. It is 6.3 mega-pixel which is more than enough for everyday point and shoot. The LCD screen is 2.5 inches. Uses SD memory card.

The camera is equipped with many modes in which to take photos such as... Read full review »

Pros Simple to use, Great photos, Auto mode does a great job

I have always had good experiences with Canon cameras and the Canon PowerShot SD1200 is no exception. This 10-megapixel camera is small, lightweight, very easy to use and produces some really great pictures. The only downside is that like a lot of Canon point-and-shoot cameras, there is a... Pros Price, size, image stabilization, looks, large screen, fast operation, great photos,...
Cons Slightly blurry corners, no manual control over aperture or shutter speed
Recommended it? Yes

Canon is never standing still. You can count on your Canon camera to produce good pictures, but you can also count that in less than a year a new model that replaces the one you have will appear on the market. Such is the case with the new Canon SD1200 IS that replaces the previous model, Canon... Read full review »
