Pros Awesome improvement in shot quality. Feels well worth it's cost.
Cons At around 310, not exactly cheap. The equally good 600 is 200.00.

The SB800 costs about 310 dollars US and that's the bad news.

I use this external flash in indoor setting obviously and it does help to bring the light on the subject!  I have to play  with it a little bit to get a soft light verses a harsh light in some settings, but you will have that with any external flash.  I did have to read a bit thru...
