An iPod Killer? Maybe...Dell Pocket DJ MP3 Player Rocks Out

byjps246 Feb 14, 2005

Pros Relatively inexpensive, 5 gig storage, Fairly intuitive interface, easy controls
Cons Included music management software is awkward, hard to use and clunky
Recommended it? Yes

I was looking for something that offered the utility and ease of use of an iPod-Mini without the extra cost of the Apple name. I looked through several of the hard-disked based smaller MP3 players and after comparing prices and features, I settled on Dell's Pocket DJ MP3 player.

So it was... Read full review »

Recommended it? Yes

I'm not going to give you all the precise specs, because you can just follow the link to Dell to get that information. I'll tell you my experience instead.

Just as a prelude: my Ipod Shuffle did exactly what it was supposed to. It gave me a random selection of songs from my computer's... Read full review »

Pros Great for non-musicphiles, Cost and sound
Cons Locking mechanism and settings style
Recommended it? Yes

There is also not a television show in history that I just have to watch on a screen that will eventually give me a headache because it's so small that I need... Read full review »
