Pros CDs sound like DVD-A and SACD discs!, Multiformat Player, Build Quality and Appearance
Cons Mediocre Video Quality, Slow response time, Possible SACD problem, Doesn't play DIVX...

I have to say, this is perhaps one of the oddest DVD players I have ever owned...as inspiring as it is frustrating. Thinking of buying it, then read on.

Pros Does everything so right.
Cons Complicated for the casual user. Seem's pricey until you use it and see why.
Recommended it? Yes

Unlike the first reviewer, I only have good things to say about this unit.

My first universal was Samsung's DVD-HD841. Now that did have problems. The picture quality was ok but DVD-Audio discs and SACDs kept cutting out while playing. I didn't really want to shell out so much for a DVD... Read full review »
