This receiver has a built in HDD with a total of a 40GB capacity: 16GB for map navigation and 24GB for music. The superb HDD navigation provides quick and easy destination search, with data on more than 13 million points of interest (POI). The music server can store approximately 5000 songs in MP3, WAV or WMA format. You can navigate and play CDs at the same time. I think this is a wonderful single din solution. My car doesn't lend itself to a double DIN NAV or DVD so I've been waiting for something like this. Install went very well but be aware some Fords may require a speed pulse generator as my Ford's PCM VSS signal didn't work with the JVC.
