Pros Instant-on white LED lights. Outstanding Epson Scan software.
Cons Nothing I've found so far.
Recommended it? Yes

For years now, I've sat in my home office looking at a huge crate full of 35mm pictures and negatives, thinking "one day I'll scan that lot in".

Pros Lots of different settings. Slide scanning looked sharp and clear.
Cons Learning curve for Beginner. No printed manual. $250 is higher than others in its class.
Recommended it? Yes

When I inherited my father's slide collection, I got serious about getting a scanner.
