When I first got my copy of MechWarrior: Mercenaries, I was all hyped up for it. I had dusted off the copies of MechWarrior 2 and Ghost Bear's Legacy when I heard about the upcoming new release and practiced until I had all the keyboard commands down to instinct again.

Mech Warrior 2 is a much better game than its first release but
MW2 seems more like an add on than a new game based on the first. It
does have better graphics and better multiplayer options, there is not
much of a storyline, so unless you just like going at it with your friends
