Pros Awesome improvement in shot quality. Feels well worth it's cost.
Cons At around 310, not exactly cheap. The equally good 600 is 200.00.
Recommended it? Yes

The SB800 costs about 310 dollars US and that's the bad news.

Pros Battery life seems to be improved, better control interface, same SB-800 quality.
Cons Larger than the SB-800, uses different color filters than the SB-800.
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased this flash upgrade because I had the funds to do so, it was not a necessity upgrade.
