Cons Top heavy and plastic shoe instead of metal.

I have had my Vivitar 285 for many years without any problems. I like the fact that it is automatic in the different preset ranges and does an excellent job. By having a flash this powerful it gives you more control and the ability to use a smaller F-stop and get greater depth of field. I use this... Read full review »

Pros Powerful, wide-angle coverage
Cons Heavy and bulky. Can't use the light sensor off-unit without using an expensive cord

Recommended it? Yes

The SB800 costs about 310 dollars US and that's the bad news.

Here's the good news:

Performance:
Add this flash to your Nikon DSLR and you will quite literally get a new WORLD of quality shooting from your camera. Those who use built in flashes have no idea why... Read full review »
