After doing a lot of research and looking at several TVs in the store, we took the plunge and bought the Philips Ambilight--found a good price online (with free shipping). We got the TV for Christmas, so have only been using it a few weeks; we've had no problems with it so I can't speak to Philips... Read full review »

Pros Bright picture, cool ambilight feature, stylish design, easy access game connections.
Cons Built in speaker sound is not great.
Recommended it? Yes

We did a lot of research before going to the store "just to look." This TV actually got a luke warm review from cnet and there weren't any reviews on Epinions yet at the time, but we fell in love with it.
