How do you know if you have a Premium Receiver? If it makes your cheap speakers sound good. I bought this receiver on the web for $670.00 (Note: Yamaha will not accept your warranty unless you buy your unit from an Authorized Yamaha Dealer). Average cost from an Authorized Dealer about $950.00...

This worked great syncing the T.V., radio, home theatre, sound system, and DVD player. It was easy to set up. Great output and worked good with my Cerwin Vega speakers.
