The Force is with us in EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH, the final chapter of the six-part STAR WARS series, which began a long time ago (1977) in a galaxy far, far away... and is now complete in its cyclical perfection. This visually awe-striking kaleidoscope of interplanetary imagination features the unmatched digital animation and special effects of George Lucas's Industrial Light and Magic. With pink and orange skies casting a golden sheen over magnificent landscapes through which space ships dart and light sabers flash, the spectacle of the film, while hypnotizing, is but a complement to the intense, crucial plot.

Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) remains the Jedi apprentice of master Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor). Battling dark forces that threaten the Republic, the duo quickly eliminates enemy Count Dooku (Christopher Lee), and Anakin proves--as he states more than once--that his powers have doubled. An intimidating warrior with superior knowledge of the Force, Anakin becomes the ... Less

Stoppard Must Be Stark Raving Sane to Turn Hamlet into a Minor Character

Pros Laughter.
Cons Death.
Recommended it? Yes

I'll confess that Hamlet has never been one of my favorite plays. It's an overwrought tragedy that makes me giggle every bit as much as Romeo and Juliet. I think it's funny when Hamlet and Laertes get into a grief-contest at Ophelia's grave. I think it's funnier still when Hamlet soliloquizes with... Read full review »

Pros Uproariously bland humor. Great take on Shakespeare. Superb acting all around.
Cons None, except maybe the itch to know which is which.
Recommended it? Yes

I wasn't going to write an opinion on this movie. Mainly because if you're going to like this movie, you've probably already seen it.

There is a lot of misunderstanding about this movie, and it has been overlooked. (The movie not the misunderstanding)

First off, the main joke of... Read full review »

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith (2005) -- Who could have done this?

Pros Spectacular visuals, Anakin and Padme finally get real, ungodly lightsaber battles!
Cons Sheeeeeeit.
Recommended it? Yes

It's hard to remember specific details. People gathered in clusters of five or six, a rock radio station was camped out right outside the movie theater, playing "Heavy" by Collective Soul. It was 11:25 at night. Oh yeah, and it was raining.

After a 15-minute wait at the concession stand... Read full review »

Ummm...Did Everyone Else See The Same Movie As Me?

Pros Vader's mask looks cool. Integral part of the Star Wars six-ogy.
Cons The acting. And Padme gives birth the the HUGEST newborns ever. And they were premature!
Recommended it? No

Picture Darth Vader stretching his arms out and screaming "Noooooo!" when he learns Padme is dead. It takes a good actor to pull the ole' "noooo" scream off. Hayden Christensen is not. In fact, he's pretty horrible. That part would fit better in Spaceballs or the gag reel of the DVD. I groaned from... Read full review »
