Good product with cripplingly bad product support

Pros Very flexible interface and maximum flexibility in programming the remote
Cons Software support so bad it cripples the product.
Recommended it? No

URC, the manufacturer, does not allow users to download software updates more recent than May 2007, unless the software is obtained from an "authorised" dealer. I purchased my remote on eBay. Obtaining a new or used remote from another user prevents you from obtaining the updated software and more... Read full review »

Pros Uses batteries.  Download codes from PC.  Lighted buttons.
Cons Hard to set up.   Can not paste functions one at a time.
Recommended it? Yes

I have had the MX-450 for about 6 months now.  I purchased it on Ebay for about $75 bucks - I LOVE IT.  I have used some of the Logitech products, but felt like the Logitech software was like a virus, and did not allow for me to make the adjustments the way I would like to.  I only...
