Carry out orders, earn respect, and make the Big Apple all your own. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword introduces full motion control enabled by the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which synchronizes player movements with Link's actions while offering intuitive play control. \nWith the Wii MotionPlus accessory, every movement of Link's sword matches the player's motion with exact precision. If players motion left to right, Link swings from left to right. The precision play control is applied to enemies as well, as players must contemplate strategy when battling opponents that actively try to defend against attacks. Less

Pros Great hand to hand control, The Godfather story line.
Cons Bland environments, another GTA clone.
Recommended it? Yes

Ever since Grand Theft Auto III hit shelves some years ago, developers have rushed to make something that rivals Rockstar's juggernaut. Scarface, Crackdown, and Saint's Row are just a few titles that come to mind. Now The Godfather is taking its turn. While it seems that nothing will have the... Read full review »

Pros Puzzles are clever as ever, controls are downright fun, upgrading system
Cons Day/night doesn't work the same, "You got the thing" screen for stuff...
Recommended it? Yes

The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword has only been in release just over a month, but I feel that it very well may be one of my top three Zelda games now, if not top two. Only the black sheep Majora's Mask puts up any real competition for a spot in my daydreaming queue anymore.

It's not too... Read full review »

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword: More Like Skyward Bored

byMike_Bracken Jan 12, 2012
33 Helpfuls 34 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros A few inventive dungeons and cool tools.
Cons The controls, the constant enemy and area recycling.
Recommended it? Yes

It seems almost fitting that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will serve as arguably the last major first party release for the Nintendo Wii. After all, when the console launched back in 2006, Link and the titular princess were the first “must have” title on the new machine. Of... Read full review »
